Coil and Charels were two young lovers who both lead a hard life. Charels was picked on during school while Coil found it hard to connect with people. In each other, they found kindred spirits and developed a relationship with each other when they learned that they shared the same sweet vape flavor: blueberry muffin tops.
Coil’s family was preventing her from being together with Charels. So, Charels had to take matters into his own hands and smoke out Coil’s entire family. With them out of the picture, neighbors and other family members began to grow suspicious, so Charels and Coil had to go on the run. Charels and Coil believed that they had transcended all other vape flavors—their blueberry muffin top goodness unlike anything else that the world had tasted. Before long, they had attracted the attention of the authority for their vaping spree. They were eventually hunted down by the law and came to a tragic end; forced away from each other’s arms forever.
Coil and Charels are based off the real world figures: Caril Ann Fugate and Charles Raymond Starkweather. The pair were girlfriend and boyfriend—the two of them going on a murder spree that resulted in 11 deaths. Caril served many years in prison before being released while Charles was sentenced to death at the electric chair. At the time of his execution, Charles had no last words.
Additionally, the movie Natural Born Killers is believed to be based off of the lives of Caril Ann Fugate and Charles Raymond Starkweather. Natural Born Killers was named one of the most controversial movies of all times by Entertainment Weekly as a result of the “copycat crimes” that it inspired.
